Ryan Patrick Geran

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Ryan Patrick Geran, loving husband and father of two passed away to be with our Lord. Born May 19, 1979 in Versailles, KY, Ryan is survived by his wife, Wanda Geran; his son, Noah; his daughter, Ava; his mother, Elizabeth (Beth) Geran; and his sister, Amelia Cousoulis. He was preceded in death by his father, James Patrick Geran, Jr. Ryan was a graduate of Dunbar High School, an attendee at Lexington Community College, and a 12-year employee of Tiffany and Company, Inc. He was a faithful and beloved member of Catalyst Christian Church in Nicholasville, KY.
Much loved by a host of relatives and close friends, Ryan is sorely missed. Ryan was the most dependable friend, brother and son. He gave much of himself in the church demonstrating the love of Christ as he served unselfishly time and time again. He was an adventurous man who loved taking his family camping and kayaking every year. He was witty and enjoyed making others laugh and smile, it was hard not to smile around Ryan. Ryan was a very determined and pragmatic man who loved a challenge and wouldn't quit until he had a solution. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife and brothers from church and the stories that would follow.
Ryan loved helping people, being challenged and working on projects of all kinds. Most of all, Ryan loved his family deeply. He loved working on projects with Noah and reveled in watching Ava sing. He loved his wife with great fervor and gentleness. He has shown us all his love for others through the giving of himself and organ donation so that others may live. We thank God for the beautiful gift of Ryan's life that we will forever cherish.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 10am to 12:30pm, followed by the funeral service at 12:30pm. A brief interment ceremony will then follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Ryan would appreciate his family being supported.
