Ryan James

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan James who peacefully passed away on April 12th at the age of forty-six. He was born on July 20th in Evansville, IN. He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and a cherished friend of so many. He was passionate about many things including, but not limited to, astronomy, science, math, history, and education. Ryan was an avid reader, phenomenal cook, devoted music lover, and enjoyed many tv shows and movies. On an average day you could find him either playing video games with his friends and children, catching up over the phone with his family and loved ones, relaxing listening to music, or watching his favorite shows like The Golden Girls or Star Trek. Ryan loved playing trivial pursuit with his mother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the best story teller and writer. He had a wonderful ability to brighten the day of the people around him with his humor in any situation. He was a incredibly generous and thoughtful man to those close to him. He was full of accordion jokes and did the most remarkably accurate Carl Sagan Impression. He is survived by his mother Teresa Walther, daughter Jenna James, son Jaide James, sister Michele Sailer, Skeleton Jeff, brother Richard Henry, half- sisters Debbie Anderson & Terri Easler, and cousin Dixon Crouch. He is proceeded by his father John Walther. A celebration of life will be held in the near future with details to come soon to close family and friends directly.
