Ryan Andrew Wheeler

INDIANAPOLIS – Ryan Andrew Wheeler, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 20, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on July 15, 1988 to Victor and Elaine Diane Cunningham Wheeler in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ryan was raised by his step-father, Roy Wheeler since he was 3 years old and called him dad.
He attended Perry Meridian High School. Professionally, Ryan worked as a repair technician at Peli Biothermal for many years. His hobbies were fishing, camping and playing video games. Ryan enjoyed being social, laughing and joking around with his friends and family. He loved listening to music, cooking out and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, Ryan loved being a father to his son.
Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Roy and Elaine Wheeler; his father, Victor Wheeler; his son, Greyson Andrew Wheeler; his siblings: Melissa (Kevin Earley) Wheeler, Robert (Samantha Ziegler) Wheeler, Tamara Wheeler and Roy (Joanna) Wheeler Jr.; his grandmother, Robbie Wheeler-Cox; his fiancé, Taylor Kirkpatrick; as well as 13 nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Gloria Cunningham, Wendel Wheeler and Jerry Cox. Additionally, he was preceded in death by his cousins, Eugene Barker and Michael Sauers as well as his aunt and uncle Randy and Janet Danielson.

Ryan's friends and family may visit from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Christopher Dunn officiating.
