Sabrina Marie Shobe was born May 28, 1965, in Kansas City, MO, to Clarence Weaver Jr. and Quinlock Shobe. Sabrina was raised by her Aunt Ardella Weaver (Poopie). She was educated in the Kansas City, MO school system and later received her GED through Job Corps, along with training in plumbing. Sabrina worked in recovery services with Renaissance West and also held various jobs in the CNA field.

Sabrina never married but was blessed with one son, Marcus T. Shobe.

She enjoyed singing, family gatherings, and binge-watching her favorite movies and shows on streaming channels. She is most remembered for her love and compassion for others and her deep love for the Lord.

Sabrina departed this life on August 12, 2025, at Research Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Her mother and father, her aunts, two brothers, Leroy Hooker and Darryl Wilkerson, and one cousin, Terry Weaver, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Marcus T. Shobe; brothers, Quinton Shobe, Lee Moore, Jerome Watkins (Chanell), Shalon Shobe, Steven Booker, and Delmar Ervine; two sisters, Scheera L. Watkins (Sharon) and Nicole Merritt; cousins, Janice Weaver and John Weaver; her trusted and dear friend, Evelyn Mansaw; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1700 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64109. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, the service will follow at 11:00 AM.
