Sadie M. Harold passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 92. She was born on December 21, 1932 to James and Tina Wright in Crossville, Tennessee. She spent most of her life in Ellet and Suffield Township, graduating from Ellet High School with the class of 1951. She retired from the B.F. Goodrich Chemical Company and attended Mogadore Baptist Church, later attending Harmony Baptist after her husband’s passing.
Sadie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Edward Harold. She leaves behind her daughter, Pam (Wayne) Foster; granddaughters, Jennifer (James) Haddox and Sydney (Jonathan) Miller; great-grandchildren, Carter Haddox and Grant Haddox.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, July 10th from 5 to 8pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will take place Friday, July 11th at 1pm with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice, 231 Springside Dr. Akron, OH 44333.
