Sai'Von Alexander My'Kell Jackson was born on January 11, 2000 in South Bend, Indiana and was the only child born to Tasha Jackson.
He was educated in the South Bend school system and attended Swanson, Clay Middle and Clay High Schools. He was formerly employed at Taco Bell and also the University of Notre Dame.
Sai'Von was a proud father of one daughter and surrogate father to one son. He LOVED spending time with his children and would do anything for them. He also enjoyed spending time with his mother and other family, playing basketball, traveling, playing video games and eating. He was always hungry and always asking his mother what she cooked. Sai'Von's favorite song was "Charlene,' by Anthony Hamilton as his mom used to play the song all of the time.
On Thursday, November 25, 2021, this loving father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend and friend passed away. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Tasha Jackson (Waldel Tompkins); his daughter Jai'Lani Jackson; surrogate son, Jai'Den Berry; girlfriend, JaiVon Berry; grandparents Jimmy (and Pam) Jackson, all of South Bend; Iris (and Keith Bracey) of Austell, Georgia; aunts, Katrina Jackson and Tisha Jackson of South Bend and Shnikkia Coleman also of Austell; special cousins, George Mitchell, Jr., JaVaughn Mitchell, De Shanna Coleman, DesMar Coleman, Dakota Coleman, Da'Lani Coleman and Xavier Bell, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Silas and Lizan Jackson and great-great grandparents Joe and Beatrice Jackson and special cousin, DeNeja Coleman.
Sai'Von will be remembered for his beautiful smile and the undying love he had for his daughter and mother.
Sleep on dear Sai'Von and take your rest. Although we all love you, God loves you best.
