Dear Toddie, Cathy and Ed,
Your mother, Miss Sally, was one of the smartest, sweetest women I ever knew. She sat with mother in the Florence hospital when we couldn't be there. She was always unselfish and doing kind deeds for others. I spent many nights in your home and enjoyed her hospitality and good meals in Loris and Florence. I have many fond memories of her , Mr. Bethea, and your family. Love , Susan Hardwick Fitch

Sally Bethea demonstrated the kindness & inner strength she learned from her relationship with Jesus Christ. During the visits we had in the nursing home she made a point to share her visitors with other residents and to involve them in our conversations. She & her husband Allison shared their faith in Christ with me. I will be eternally grateful for that. Her good deeds live on in the lives she touched.

She was a special lady, and I have thought of her often. Had good intentions to visit but never made it. I will forever be grateful to her for being so instrumental in getting Chip to St. Paul. Know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Cathy & Family,
I knew Sally for years @ St. Paul UMC & the Methodist Manor, where I still reside. We were both in the Jimmy McNair Sunday school class. We talked with each other often. My wife, Jessene (passed away 2001), and myself thought highly of her. She will be missed...God bless you & your family.

I knew Mrs. Bethea,I attended Royall Elementary School. She was my principal & certainly left a positive imprint on my life. When I heard she passed away my first thought was, "all the lives that have been enriched by this precious lady." What an awesome legacy she leaves behind. Truly, someone so special cannot be forgotten. My thoughts & prayers are with the family.
