Sally Pearl Campbell, 85 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at The Springs at Wyandot Trail with her family by her side. She was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on January 15, 1940, to the late Edwin and Wanda Ashcraft, Sr.
Sally was a retired interior decorator. She attended Freedom Memorial Church and was a member of Olivedale Senior Citizens Center. Sally loved to walk and talk to neighbors and did not know a stranger. She enjoyed playing the guitar and Blue Grass music. You would see her quite often working in her yard and garden and she loved kids.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Kristina (Rev. Brad) Grosvenor of Amanda, Ohio; stepson, Christopher Campbell of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Dylan Harris of Lancaster, Ohio, Jacob Harris of Ft. Bragg, Alex Grosvenor of Edmond Oklahoma and Adam Grosvenor of Arkansas; stepsister, Evelyn Adkins of Florida an several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Campbell, parents, brothers, Edwin B. Ashcraft, Jr., Herschel C. Ashcraft and Richard Ashcraft and a sister, Elizabeth Riggs.
Funeral service will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Brad Grosvenor officiating. Friends may visit from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairmont, West Virginia. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, West Virginia 26554.
Memorial gifts may be given to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130, Meals on Wheels, Fairfield County, 1515 Cedar Hill Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130 or Olivedale Senior Citizens Center, 253 Boving Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
