Sally A. Engleman, 72, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Aspirus St. Mary Hospital in Rhinelander surrounded by her family.
Sally was born May 11, 1952 in Tomahawk to Lyle and Bea (Stewart) Copiskey. She married Larry Engleman on April 28, 1973 at St. Mary Church in Tomahawk.
Sally graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1971 and moved with Larry to Rhinelander in 1974. She had worked as an AODA counselor in Tomahawk, Rhinelander, and Mole Lake. She was well known for her love of crafting.
Surviving Sally is her husband, Larry of Rhinelander; four children, Nathan (Jodi) Engleman, Rhinelander; Cori (Dan Winkler) Engleman, Hudson, WI; Heidi (Paul) Winter, Tomahawk; and Heather (Justin Baker) Englemen, Rhinelander. She is further survived by her “niece daughter” Alicia (Nate) Pierce, Tomahawk and grandchildren, Riley, Gracia, Kaylee, Johnny, Mason, Hallie, Zack, and Keaton. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Bea Copiskey and Siblings, Harry, Sharon, and Mary Kay.
A Memorial Service for Sally Engleman will be held Monday, June 3, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Krueger Nimsgern Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
