Sally Estelle Harbin

Sally Estelle McIlwain Harbin, age 89, of Grenada passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her home. She was born September 15, 1935, in Carroll County to the late Andrew Jackson McIlwain and Myrtle Missouri Mann McIlwain.
Sally was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church. She loved people and enjoyed writing poems, writing in her journal, and reading the Bible.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brent Harbin.; two sisters, Lillie Bell Green and Thelma Garner; and one brother, Andrew "Mac" McIlwain, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Gale Lovell (Dennis) and Kay Worsham (Ronnie), both of Grenada; one son, Randy Harbin of Grenada; two sisters, Bea Crocker of Boyle and Judy Steed of Alamo, Tennessee; one brother, Jackie McIlwain of Carrollton; one daughter-in-law, Martha Harbin; four grandchildren, Tiffany McDaniel (Brent), Amber Duke (Phil), Jody Welch (David), and Adam Harbin; two great-grandsons, Taylor Fant and Colt Harbin; a host of nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Barbara and Deanna.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 10:30 a.m. at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow in the Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.
