Linda Avery Obituary

Linda passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 17, 1950, in Webster County and was the daughter of the late Roy Moore and Thelma Jones Moore.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ricky Avery; one son, Archie Avery; one sister, Wanda Miller; and two brothers, Wayne Moore and Larry Moore.
Linda is survived by one son, Richard A. Avery, Jr of Batesville; two granddaughters, Christina Lynn Avery Woods (Chance) of Grenada and Amanda Nicole Avery Bailey (Jordon) of Batesville; one grandson, Matthew Dylan Avery of Batesville; and four great-grandchildren.
The family asks those who attend the service to wear purple, which was Linda's favorite color.
Mortimer National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
