Sarah Kathleen Alldread

Sarah Kathleen Alldread, age 86, of Grenada, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, at her home. Funeral services are at 2 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in Carroll County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mortimer National Funeral Home in Grenada.
She was born on March 18, 1936 in Webster County and was the daughter of the late John Jeff Smith and Vera Chandler Smith.
Sarah owned and operated a convenience store. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Carroll County.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Alldread; two sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by four daughters, Joy McCrary (Bill), Pam Blount (John), Tresa Melton (Jimmy), and Nora Miller (Scott); three sisters, Mary Williamson, Rachel Lott, and Jean Ingram; one brother, Kenneth Smith; nine grandchildren, Bill McCrary, Laura Jackson, Jeffery Alldread, Christopher Blount, Jessie Melton, Sonya Anderson, Katie Pigg, Tiffany Walters, and Alexis Miller Alldread; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
