Funeral Services for Sally Herrera, will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Peter D'Souza officiating. A visitation will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 2:00-8:00 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home. Additionally, another visitation will take place Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 3:00-8:00 pm. Rosary will be held at 6 pm both Saturday and Sunday at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Sally was born on May 13, 1969 to Willie Herrera Sr. and Matilde Herrera in Levelland, Texas.  She grew up with six brothers: Rudy Herrera, Guadalupe Herrera, Sr., Bobby Herrera, David Herrera, Willie Herrera, Jr. and Gilbert Herrera and a sister: Betty Herrera. Sally remained close with them throughout her entire life. 

Sally Herrera, beloved sister, devoted aunt, cherished wife, and loyal friend passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 54. Although her time with us was brief, the memories she created with her family and friends will be treasured for years to come. Sally's life was dedicated to her loved ones. Her warm personality and caring nature were evident in all that she did.

Sally had a special love for her nieces and nephews, whom she mentored and advised throughout their lives. She enjoyed cooking and spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for friends and family to enjoy. She kept a special place in her heart for her father, Willie Herrera, Sr.; brothers, Guadalupe Herrera Sr., Willie Herrera, Jr. and Gilbert Herrera; sister, Betty Herrera and a nephew, Joe David Herrera who preceded her in death.

Sally will be missed beyond measure by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Hector Hernandez; mother, Matilde Herrera; three, brothers: Rudy Herrera, Bobby Herrera and wife Delia, and David Herrera; six stepdaughters: Anna Renteria, Joann Rosales, Elain Reyna, Jessica Hernandez, Marissa Hernandez and Cassandra Hernandez; several nieces and nephews; as well as Kota and Mikey, all of whom Sally loved dearly.
