Funeral Service for Darwin Rautbort, 66, of Brownfield, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home with John Fields officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Darwin was born on December 20, 1958, in Decatur, Illinois, to Henry and Bernice Rautbort. He was more than just a businessman; he was a dedicated family man and a kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of those around him.
Throughout his life, Darwin exemplified what it meant to be a hard worker. His dedication was a shining testament to his character, and he was admired for his unwavering work ethic. Beyond his professional achievements, Darwin's true legacy lies in the love he had for his family and the warmth he extended to everyone he encountered. He was a caring man who always prioritized the needs of others, creating a nurturing environment for his loved ones.
Family gatherings were filled with laughter and joy, as he took great pleasure in being surrounded by those he cherished. Moreover, Darwin had a profound affection for animals. This love showcased his gentle nature and ability to empathize with all living beings. Whether it was caring for pets or supporting animal welfare, he carried a special bond with the creatures that graced his life.
Darwin was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bernice Rautbort and a brother, Jan Rautbort. He is survived by his children, Derick Rautbort and fiancé Amy Triana and Victoria Rautbort; grandchildren, Spencer Rautbort, Sawyer Rautbort, Amalia Triana and Jake Rosales; ex-wife, Nancy Rautbort; brothers, Mark Rautbort, Alvin Rautbort; sister, Jaclyn Tropp, and many nieces and nephews.
