Sally Frances Hornick

Sally Frances Hornick, born on March 18, 1989, in Burlington, VT passed away peacefully at her home on October 14, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Martin and Ann Hornick of Fairfield, VT.
Sally lived a life full of love, adventure, and laughter. A devoted daughter, sister, and aunt, Sally was a cherished member of her family. She deeply loved those around her, and shared a profound connection with her paternal grandparents and nieces and nephews.
A proud graduate of BFA St Albans and Johnson State College, where she earned her BA in English, Sally had a life long passion for literature, music, and the arts. She was a talented artist, jewelry maker and writer whose creativity brought a lot of joy to her life.
Sally's adventurous spirit took her traveling to many places. She was a dreamer at heart – a treasure hunter with a nostalgic soul and had a deep curiosity about life. Her sense of humor, warmth, and thoughtful nature made her many dear friends across the world.
An advocate for underserved communities, Sally dedicated her compassion and voice to supporting individuals with Autism. She was also a proud supporter of Pride and believed in lifting others up through kindness, acceptance, and understanding.
Sally's life was a tapestry of laughter, family chats around the table, shared memories, and genuine connections. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and an unshakeable positive spirit that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.
Her memory will forever be a gentle reminder to smile often, love dearly, and keep dreaming.
Sally is survived by her parents, Martin and Ann Hornick of Fairfield, VT; her siblings, Jackson, Anna, Karleigh and their families along with countless special people in her life.
A celebration of life will be held in spring 2026.
