Sally Maynard Obituary
Sally Elaine Maynard 61 of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away October 12, 2023 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a brief illness.
Sally was born Novembe 9, 1961 at Huntington, WV, the daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine Williams Maynard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Bill, Tracy, Buck, Larry, and Jesse Maynard; and sisters Nell Faye Maynard, Margaret Maynard, and Georgia Dingess.
Survivors include her loving husband Arbie Thompson; two sons Joey and Shane Steele; granddaughters Alexis and Allison Steele; sisters Linda Alexander, Barbara Hickman, and Schredda Shupe; a brother Lacey Maynard; and a daughter-in-law Tiffany Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 17th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Messer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson-Maynard Cemetery at Orchard Branch Drive Fort Gay, West Virginia.Friends may visit the family on Monday October 16th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
