Sally Ann McAdoo, 56, of Tama-Toledo, passed away Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, at home under the care of Iowa River Hospice, surrounded by family. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 30th, 2024, at the Tama-Toledo Eagles Club.
Sally was born on April 2nd, 1967, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Franklin Garrett Sr and Josephine (Curtis) Sivertsen. She graduated from East High School in 1985.On October 30, 1993, she was united in marriage to Kenny McAdoo. Sally formerly worked at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel as a Staff Accountant from 1994-2021. Sally loved spending time with her fur babies, tubing down the river, and camping. She enjoyed taking car rides with her husband looking for Bald Eagles and stopping to feed the ducks. She loved scrapbooking with her mom and frosting cookies with her mother-in-law Carla.
Sally's favorite color was orange and she loved sunflowers. Sally's sarcastic sense of humor, smile and laugh will be remembered by her family and friends. She loved spending time camping, playing cards and chit chatting. Girl's weekends with the women in her family were a fun past time. Sally enjoyed singing karaoke and watching Iowa Women's Basketball.
Sally and Kenny enjoyed spending time with their Fire Department family at Fireman's Conventions and Mid-Winter Meetings. They also camped throughout the years together. Due to Sally's health she had to slow down with her activities. Sally and Kenny moved in 2022, and their neighbors became their extended family.
Survivors include her husband, Kenny McAdoo of Tama-Toledo, three children, Erin White of Tama, Erica McAdoo of Cedar Rapids, Megan (Chris) Schwarting of North English; seven grandchildren, Drayton, Dillon, Jason, Braxton, Sydney, Kendra and Loudon; her mother Josephine (Curtis) Sivertsen of Cedar Falls; ten siblings Nicole (Ryan), Franklin "Dan" (Carla), Tom (Krystal), Jeff, Djann, Tina, Molly, Penny, Mary and Rhonda. She was proceeded in death by her father Franklin; grandparents Philip and Juanita, Richard and Mollie; in laws Fred and Carla; siblings April and Brandy.
In lieu of flowers, Sally would like donations to be made to either Alive and Running Iowa for Suicide Prevention & Awareness, Iowa River Hospice or the Tama County Humane Society.

You both will have a love that outlives this world. My heart breaks for you both but you did everything to get everything out of life you could while you could. Much love Sally and Kenny. I hope you both find peace.
