Sally Rodgers, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023 at 83 years old in her home, leaving a profound impact on all who were fortunate to know her.
Born on September 27, 1940 in Alliance, Sally's life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering strength. She dedicated her life with her own accounting practice, where her passion and dedication inspired those around her.
Sally's zest for life extended far beyond her work; she was an avid animal enthusiast, always embracing new adventures with enthusiasm, joy, and brought joy to those who shared her passions.
A pillar of her community, Sally was known for her compassion and generosity. Her warm smile and comforting presence brought solace to many. She touched countless lives through her volunteer work with the Stark County Humane Society.
Family was the cornerstone of Sally's life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her partner Denny, Daughter, Melanie, and two grandchildren, Jaren and Jacob each of whom she adored beyond measure.
Sally's spirit, resilience, and unwavering positivity will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of Sally's life will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on January 4, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Stark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio 44705 in her honor.
Though Sally's physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
