Sally Shewmaker Laney Obituary
Sally Jane Shewmaker Laney of Nicholasville, born August 22nd, 1940 to the late John and Gertrude Shewmaker of Wilmore, passed away on December 30th, 2021.
She is survived by four daughters Benita Laney, Princess Teresa (Mark) Walters, Kesha (George) Frazier, and Serita (Scott) Taylor. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, siblings Kenneth (Bonnie) Shewmaker, Jerry (Dayna) Shewmaker and Tommy Shewmaker, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Joseph (Bill) Laney, one grandchild James Derek Frazier, seven brothers JD, Marion, Paul, Treffort, Donald and Bobby Jean Shewmaker and one sister Barbara Evans.
There will be a celebration of life service at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville on Sunday, January, 2nd at 2:00 p.m.
