Sally Ann (Meyers) Sizemore, age 79 of McCordsville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday evening, January 28, 2025.
Sally was born on October 18, 1945 in Bedford, Indiana, to parents Benjamin and Dorothy (Barnes) Meyers. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Sally is survived by one daughter: Michelle (husband Brad) Sievers of McCordsville, Indiana, brother: Robert (wife Kimberly) Meyers of Chico, California and brother: James (wife Dawne) Meyers of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Sally had a lifelong passion for dancing, ultimately finding some of her greatest joy in competitive ballroom dancing, which she pursued with great success. A work relocation to Florida for several years further fueled this fire, as she found her long time dance partner Allan Alday. Together they traveled extensively to compete at the National level, receiving numerous trophies and awards, often winning several first places in the categories she loved.
Travel was no stranger to Sally, as a chance to study abroad in high school gave Sally her love of Europe, especially France. She was fortunate to return several times, taking extended trips with her traveling companion Sydney Paredes as often as she could. She was always ready to plan and go on the next destination adventure. Sally led a life of grace and poise, blessed with a kind soul, compassionate to all and strengthened throughout her days by her Catholic faith and the support of family and friends. Her inspiration and positive outlook on life, along with the cherished memories of her beautiful smile and joyous laughter, will linger long.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
