Sally Ann (Vanoven) Smith

Sally Ann (Vanoven) Smith, 67, of Searcy, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. She was born August 20, 1945 in Bradford a daughter of the late Cecil and Esie Giffen Vanoven. She was a retired nurses aide and a devoted Christian lady. She is survived by her husband, Wendell Smith; son, Kevin Smith of Beebe; daughter, Tracie Jones of Judsonia; brothers, Fred Vanoven, Gerry Murdock and Cecil William Vanoven, Jr.; sisters, Trudy Boatman and Wilma Weeks; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Sullivan and Bro. Jim Vanoven officiating.
