Celebration of life service for Sally M (Shullenberger) Stacey, 87, of Anniston, will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 am at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Chad Pesnell will be officiating the service. Burial will follow the service on Saturday in Maple Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Sally was born December 3, 1936, and passed away on September 8, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Vera Shullenberger; brother, Jerry L. Shullenberger; and her sister, Dorothy Rolston.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years George J Stacey. Sally and George married where they met at Fort Eustis, Virginia on July 29, 1961, at the Post Chapel. They had three daughters whom they love and are so proud of: Tami (Edward) Vick, Terri (Tommy) Graham, and Amy (Jason) Morris; The have 13 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren that they cherish: Cassie (Shane), Melissa (Chris), Derek, Brandi Sue, Trevor (Annalia), Shannon, Kristen (Brian), Cortney (Austin); great grandchildren: Jade, Dalton, Dason, Dakota, Hunter, Hannah, Kayden, Soren, Iris
Ms. Sally was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Women's Army Corp (WAC) as a payroll clerk. Ms. Sally enjoyed flowers of all kinds, Bowling, Amateur Photography, Photo Shopping, Games on Samsung Pad, Coloring, Crocheting, and even enjoyed watching the Golfing Tournaments on TV. Most of all she enjoyed having family around her and travelling with the love of her life George J Stacey.
