Salvadora B. Mayorga, 76, passed away on Saturday evening, June 21st, 2025.

Salvadora was born in San Alejo, Launion, El Salvador on June 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Rosali Mendez and Maria Mayorga. She attended college, and later worked as a housekeeper along with other jobs throughout her lifetime.

Salvadora was a fashionable woman, very well dressed and enjoyed going out to eat with her family. At home she was an excellent cook and loved to take care of her children and grandchildren. When not watching soap operas on television, she loved to talk on the phone.

She was a faithful member of the Puerta Del Cielo Church in Mahanoy City.

Salvadora is survived by her children, a daughter Susan, wife of Sergio Luna of Ashland and a son, Richard Carballo and his wife Yanci Amaya Rivas of New York.

Seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Alexis, David, Keilah, Sergio, Liam and Lior, along with two great grandchildren, Ermias and Milannie, along with anticipating the arrival of a great grandson Ezra within the coming days.

Salvadora also leaves behind her sisters, Maria, Martha, Lorena and Mercedes, and a brother Rene.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 from 8:30 am until 10:30 am at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown. Pastor Issac will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 AM, followed by burial at the Greenwood Cemetery in Frackville.
