Greece: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at age 78. He is predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Angelina Guzzetta; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Chris Franco; sister-in-law, Lois Guzzetta. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan (Lombardo) Guzzetta; children, Holly (Craig) McNair, Matthew Guzzetta, Anthony (Veronica) Guzzetta, Nikki (Dave) Evers; grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan McNair, Sam, Annaleigh and Vincenzo Guzzetta; twin brother, Joseph Guzzetta; brothers-in-law, Robert Lombardo, Donald Lombardo; nieces, Deana Guzzetta, Sharon (Al) Hinkle, Marie (Chuck) Jansen, LuAnn (Bill) Popham; many other relatives and friends. Sam was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.
Friends may call SUNDAY from 1-4PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday, May 8, 2023, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Parish of the Holy Family Church. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Parish of the Holy Family Church, 4100 Lyell Rd., Rochester, NY 14606 or to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 in his memory.
