Salvatore George Nicotera, 79 of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully on Tuesday October8, 2024 at his home. He was born December 4, 1944 in Pittsburgh.
Sal was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a very hard worker throughout his life and worked as a Barber in Norvelt for many years.
He truly was most proud of his family. He is survived by his children, Wendy (Ron) Kronk, Sally (Keith) Shawley, Stacey Nicotera, Sal (Kim) Nicotera. His grandchildren Cody (Mike) Kristich, Kelsey (Taylor) Stutzman, Luke and Lexi Nicotera and Kade Shawley. His great grandchildren Bryndle and Colter Stutzman. Also, his girlfriend Bonnie Norcera.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Clara Nicotera, his granddaughter Miranda Ritenour, his wife Jan Nicotera, and a brother Frankie Nicotera.
Friends and family will be received at Hoffer Wilt Funeral Home in Norvelt, PA on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 4-8pm.
