Sam Alioto Obituary
Sam Alioto, age 72 of Wexford, PA died suddenly in Florida on April 24, 2024.
Sam was the proud, loving father of Vinnie (Heather Lezanic) Alioto, and cherished grandfather of Anthony, Mario, Luca, and Gabriella. He is survived by his devoted partner of 18 years, Karen Borraccini, his sister Rose (Fred) Wolfe, and brother John (Kaye) Alioto; niece and nephews: Greg (Rachel) Wolfe, Doug (Jamie) Wolfe, Mike (Randi) Wolfe; Katie Alioto, Joe (Rachel) Alioto, and Jonathan Alioto; and by many dear cousins and friends.
Sam was the son of the late Joe and Nancy Alioto. Sam had been employed by Giant Eagle, U.S. Steel, Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale, Don Parker Sales, and part-owner of Keg n' Case. He loved to golf, and actually shot a 77 on the day he left us. When home during the spring through fall, he spent the majority of his time at Vinnie and Heather's home helping to maintain the house, yard, pool, playing with his grandchildren, having a few beers and hanging out.... and golfing.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 15th from 4-8 p.m. at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saints John and Paul Church on Wexford Bayne Rd. on Thursday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. (Please Meet at Church).
In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to a charity of your choice.
