Sam Guglielmino, 87, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Born in Catania, Italy, Sam was the son of the late Giuseppe and Connie (Sapienza) Guglielmino. He immigrated to the United States in 1955 and settled in Lawrence (?) before making Methuen his longtime home.

Sam was a dedicated employee of Buy Rite Foods, and then J & A Construction, where he worked for many years until his retirement. He had a lifelong love of horses and was proud to have owned and cared for his own. His gentle nature and devotion to animals were evident to all who knew him.

A familiar face at Brook Casino in Seabrook, Sam enjoyed the excitement and social atmosphere, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his many friends at Heavenly Donuts in Methuen. His presence there was a constant source of warmth, laughter, and companionship.

Sam was predeceased by his brother Orzio Guglielmino.

He is survived by his children, Gina M. Maynard and her husband Peter of Haverhill, Joseph M. Guglielmino and his partner Anna Correo of Methuen; his sisters Maria Pappalardo and her late husband Giuseppe, and Graziella Brancetelli and her husband Armando; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home. A prayer service will follow at 5:00 PM.
