Sam Renfrow

 

 

James Henry (Sam) Renfrow age 60 passed away on Friday September 8, 2023. Family will hold a memorial visitation at Wolf Funeral Services Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with private graveside at Lodebar Church cemetery to follow for his family.

Sam was born on October 8, 1963, to Walter Loyd and Mary Nell Renfrow. He grew up in Pelahatchie in his earlier years and then moving to Pearl with his mother. Sam also spent time in Arkansas with his father. He worked as a construction worker and traveled throughout the south over the years on many different projects.  His greatest love was for his daughter and grandchildren. His time with them even though limited, was a blessing for them and him.

He was proceeded in death by both of his parents, Walter Loyd Renfrow and Mary Nell Medina; Brother, Walter Graves Renfrow Walter will be laid to rest with Sam at Lodebar Cemetery. 

He is survived by his daughter, Tasha Renfrow; five grandchildren, Chrisuna Walker, Christajia Walker, Christopher Walker, Jr., Christian James Dewight Renfrow and Princess Scott; sisters, Annette Carroll, Stacey Pullin, Jamie Jeffrey and Nicki Meadows, brothers, Patrick Medina, Ephriam Medina, George Renfrow, Brandon Renfrow, and Jeremy Renfrow, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. One surviving uncle, Jerry Renfrow as well as many friends and family.
