Andrew Verona Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tuttle Funeral Home on Jan. 29, 2026.
Andrew Samuel Verona, a 58-year-old resident of Budd Lake, New Jersey, passed away on January 28, 2026. Born on January 29, 1967, to Audrey and David Verona in Morristown, New Jersey, he was affectionately known as Sam to his family and friends. After graduating from Randolph High School in 1985, Sam briefly attended County College of Morris in Randolph before embarking on a career in construction that spanned over two decades. Throughout his career, he ascended to the managerial level and eventually transitioned into property management and building engineering.

In the 1990s, Sam met Mary Lou Quinn and her sons, Daniel and Ryan. In 2000, Sam and Mary Lou exchanged vows, and the four of them formed a loving family in Englishtown, New Jersey for several years.

Throughout his life, Sam had a deep passion for history, reading, and festively cherishing the company of his numerous long-time friends. In his later years, he embraced retirement.

Sam was predeceased by his parents, David (2004) and Audrey Verona (2025). He is survived by his brother, Daniel Verona, and his husband Dennis Reilly of Long Beach, California. He is also survived by his brother Edward Verona, and his wife Patricia Verona of Houston, Texas, his sister Susan Verona, and her husband Lloyd Bobb of Horsham, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is survived by his niece Norma Verona-Warren and her husband Peter Warren of Arlington, Virginia, his niece Kathryn Verona-Pettit and her husband Ryan Pettit of Herndon, Virginia, his nephew Theodore Verona of Kyiv, Ukraine, and four great-nieces.

Memorial Service on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph, NJ
