Samantha Hudson Fransen, age 42, of Wilmington, had been in failing health recently, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday August 3, 2025 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.
She was born December 10, 1982 in Wilmington, OH, daughter of Mark Hudson and the late Teresa "Terry" Fisher Hudson.
She was a graduate of Wilmington High School & had attended 1st Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Samantha had been a former home health care aide for several years.
Surviving are father, Mark Hudson of Wilmington, OH, aunt, Helen Dunlap of Wilmington, OH, aunt & uncle, Rusty & Diane Hudson and several cousins.
In addition to her mother, Samantha was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Jim & Betty Fisher and Fred & Jean Hudson.
Following cremation a private burial will take place in the Sugar Grove Cemetery; no public services are scheduled.
