We gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Samantha Lynn Landry, who left this world on September 23, 2025, at the age of 51.
Samantha was born April 8, 1974, the daughter of Bobby Acosta and Sarah Fabre Acosta.
Samantha was a vibrant spirit, often found with a Coca-Cola in hand and a smile on her face, whether she was painting a masterpiece, enjoying the outdoors while fishing, or planning her next adventure with her loved ones. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, creating treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 27 years, Gibson “Gip” Landry, sharing 36 years together; son, Tyler Landry and wife Kayla; daughter, Kailey Landry and significant other Quinton Toups; four grandchildren, Myles Landry, Maverick Landry, Maddox Landry, and Adeline Toups; mother, Sarah Fabre Acosta; brother, Calvin Acosta; numerous nieces and nephews.
Samanatha was preceded by her father, Bobby Acosta; sister, Bobbie Jean Acosta; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Wilbert and Margie Coupel Landry.
Pallbearers will be Gibson Landry, Tyler Landry, Roderick Prestenbach, Quinton Toups, Jimmy Legnon, Calvin Acosta, Steven Campo, Starbuck “Bucky” Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Myles, Maverick, and Maddox Landry.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home to celebrate Samantha’s life. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m., until 9:00 p.m., and again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
