Sami Antoun Obituary
Sami was born in Alexandria, Egypt, growing up there until the age of ten before the family made its way to Canada with a two-year stop in Dublin, Ireland. They settled in Montreal. Sami attended Rosemont High School and then went on to Sir George Williams University, obtaining a bachelor's degree of Applied Sciences in Geology in 1981. He did field work in North and South America, and also worked on oil rigs off the coast of Newfoundland before moving to Calgary.
Sami is survived by two sisters, Myriam Antoun (Nick Rupert) and Lesley Antoun (Marc Burcar); and his niece and nephews, Elliot, Alicia, Eric, and Thomas, all of Montreal. He is predeceased by his parents, Angèle and Fawzy Antoun; and a brother, Samir Antoun.
Cremation at Foothills Crematorium. Family services and interment will take place in Montreal at a later date.
