Leslie Gay Antoun, age 86, of Villa Rica passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was born September 25, 1936 in Atlanta, GA. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Leslie Howard Palmer and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Senn Palmer. Mrs. Antoun was a woman who profoundly loved the Lord and her family and everything she did circled around her family. She was of the Baptist Faith and attended Midway Baptist Church. A few of Mrs. Antoun’s past times were reading, playing the piano and watching the Braves. She was such a positive and optimistic person and never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Richard Antoun; sister, Joanne Palmer-Upchurch.
She is survived by her sons, George Allen (Angela) Reid, William Gregg (Debra) Reid; daughter, Terry (Danny) Jackson; grandchildren, Beth (Thomas J.) Powell, Gregg (Tara) Reid, Richard Reid, Amanda (David) Pritchett, Corey Jackson; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin and Allen Powell, Lily and Alli Jackson, Ava Pritchett, Sadie Reid, Dayton and Dawson Evans; a very special friend and companion of over 30 years, John Bishop, children Donnie, Dee and Tommy Bishop; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
According to Mrs. Antoun’s wishes she was cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
