Samir H. Ashqar

Samir H. Ashqar, age 72, passed away on January 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Samir was born in Jordan and moved to the United States at a very young age, where he built a life rooted in service, dedication, and family. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged, a chapter of his life he held with great pride.

Samir was the proud owner of Sam Ash & Co., a Hair Salon business that reflected his entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Through his work, he earned the respect of colleagues, customers, and the community.

Samir was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lina; his son, Andrew, and Andrew's wife; his daughter, Tamara, and her husband; his two brothers and three sisters; and his four cherished grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

Samir will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family. His presence, wisdom, his love for sharing Jesus to those who will listen and kindness. Samir will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
