Eugenia Enid Smith

Eugenia (Enid) Smith, a devoted mother, woman of faith, and beloved child of God, was called home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 6, 1935, in Lopinot Village,Trinidad, Enid lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service. She trusted God in all things and reflected his love through her kindness, patience, and compassion. Her faith was not only what she believed-it was how she lived each day.

Family was one of God's greatest blessings to Enid. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her daughters, Mercedes and Bibiana, and lovingly guided her children, grandchildren, and extended family through prayer, encouragement, and unconditional love.

Enid found joy in church, worship, prayer, singing hymns, and helping others. She had a gentle spirit, a listening ear, and a way of making everyone feel seen and cared for. She also cherished gardening, finding peace and delight in nurturing all that she planted-just as she nurtured those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband and several beloved siblings. Enid is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who became family. We take comfort in knowing that Enid is now resting in God's presence.Though we grieve her passing, we do not grieve without hope. Her love remains with us, her prayers continue to surround us, and her legacy of faith will live on forever.
