Sammy Lowring Obituary
Sammy was born on July 10, 1951, to Joseph and Sallie (SL) Lowring and entered into rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and great-grandfather.
Preceding Sammy in death are his parents; and brothers, Billy Joe Lowring, James Lowring, and Vaughn Jerry "Cokie" Lowring. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of ten years, Beverly Lowring; daughters, Crystal Vines and fiancé, Gary Shrader, Kathaleen Pickron and fiancé, Chris Lynch; stepson, Kenny Vierdag and wife, Natalie; sister, Betty Jo Moberly, Sharon Akin, Ann Lowring, Faye Lowring; brothers, Donald Lowring and wife, Margie, Terry Lowring, Robert Lowring, Allen Lowring and wife, Threcia; grandchildren, Tyler Vines, Taylor Vines, Dalton Vierdag and wife, Kaleigh, Brock Vierdag and wife, Faith, Ryker Vierdag, Breanna O'Neal and husband, Damian, Dustin Pickron, Kaden Pickron; great-grandchildren, Landon Womack, Hayden Pickron, Adilynn Pickron, Kaeman Vierdag, Kotter Vierdag, Kolt Vierdag, Brantley Brumley, Olivia Vierdag, and Marliegh Vierdag; and a host of family and friends.
Honoring Sammy as pallbearers will be Robert Lowring, Douglas Ryals, Patrick Procell, Brock Vierdag, Kenny Vierdag, and Michael Moberly. Honorary pallbearers will be David Ryals and Phil Coleman.
The family would like to express their deepest condolences to the staff at Willis-Knighton Bossier Emergency Room and ICU staff for caring for Sammy.
