Sammy Mathis Obituary

Mr. Mathis was an auto detailer and took pride in his workmanship. He loved to make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Sammy is survived by his daughter Jessie Mathis; grandchildren, Gracie and Devin; siblings, Julia Douglas (Rick), and Jerry Cooper; nieces, Valerie Feiling (Matt), and Anna Douglas (Hillary); great nieces, Heidi Holt and Islay Feiling; and a special friend to the family, Dakota Delfino.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 501 Bethany Church Road, Moore, SC 29369. The memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM. Pastor Tony Pearson will officiate.
