Sarah and Carter Robinson, lifelong companions, best friends, and soulmates, passed away just hours apart and were found together on August 8, 2025.
Sarah and Carter shared a rare and beautiful bond-one built on years of laughter, quiet strength, and unshakable love. Married for 29 years, their lives reflected deep friendship and mutual devotion. They were rarely seen apart, and their closeness was felt by all who knew them.
Sarah brought warmth and grace to every room she entered, known for her kind heart and gentle spirit. Carter was steady and thoughtful, always ready with a calm word or a quiet smile. Their story reminds us that true love endures-and that some bonds are simply unbreakable.
Though their passing comes as a profound loss, there is comfort in knowing they remained close to the end, just as they had always been in life.
Sarah, daughter of the late Nancy and Harrison Engle, is survived by her sister, Mary Catherine John (Donald) and her brother, Harrison Engle. Carter, son of the late William and Barbara Robinson, is survived by his sisters, Barbara Robinson, Susan Armstrong, Patricia Armstrong, Nancy Armstrong, and Linda Armstrong; his brother, Danny Armstrong; as well as many nieces and nephews; and and together they are survived by a close circle of friends and neighbors who loved them dearly.
A joint memorial service will be held on October 31, 2025 at 6:00 PM at 9006 Germaine Court Boiling Springs, SC 29316, where family and friends will honor their lives, their love, and the beautiful legacy they leave behind.
