Sammy "Bo" Morgan

Sammy Gayle Morgan, affectionately known as "Bo," of Fort Pierce, FL, transitioned this life on November 10, 2024. Sammy was born on January 8, 1962, to the parents of Sammy Gayle, Jr. and Erma Jean Morgan.
Sammy attended public schools in St. Lucie County. Sammy entered the workforce at an early age, working various jobs including the Florida East Coast Railroad and then owning his own detailing business: S & M Detailing in Fort Pierce. In 2011, Sammy's health began to decline, leaving him unable to work, but that didn't slow him down. He enjoyed watching CNN, watching western movies, sitting under the garage talking to his friends or his aunt, and sitting with his mother. He loved his family. He had a special love for his children and grandchildren. They brought so much joy into his life. He would call or attempt to call or text weekly to check up on everyone in his contacts, that's if he could locate his cell phone.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Gayle, Jr.; stepfather, Robert Lee Spann; grandmothers, Ola Mae Morgan and Mable Ivory Delouch; grandfathers, JP Morgan, Sr. and Sammy Gayle, Sr.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving, caring, and devoted wife: Kathryn Thomas Morgan; daughters: Samisha (Christopher) White of Tampa, FL and Briggett (Shea) Lardge of Hinesville, GA; son: Jerome (Regina) Lismore of Tampa, FL; mother: Erma Morgan Spann; father-in-law: Robert Lee (Melva) Thomas; sisters: Dedilia (Alexander) Finlayson, Tonya (Stacy) Turner, and Patricia (Charlie) Hillary all of Fort Pierce, FL and April (Cedric) McMillon of Fredericksburg, VA; sisters-in-law: Laquanda (David) Milton and Angela (Winchester) Williams; brother-in-law: James King: aunts: Evangelist Mary Cox, Elder Mable Wilson, Apostle Dr. Beatrice McKinley, Missionary Peggy (Ulysee) Neal, Peggy Lee Morgan, Idella (Thomas) Siplin, Hattie Bell Brunson, Betty Barnes, Elder Roberta (Jimmy) Williams, all of Fort Pierce, FL, Mary Patricia (Marvin) and Mary Helen Bouie both of Tampa, FL, Alice (Nathaniel) Ware of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Elder Frances Rhodes of Sacramento, CA; uncles: Elder Harry (Sara) Reese, JP (Luvenia) Morgan, and Dennis Morgan all of Fort Pierce, thirteen grandchildren; and a host of beloved cousins and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
