Sammy Pruitt Obituary
Larry was an amazing man who knew no stranger and would always put others above himself.
He loved his wife, his children, his grandbabies, his family and friends, and above all, Larry loved the Lord.
Larry's passion in life was to win souls to the Lord as he could even in his last days.
He was a member of Blue Springs Church of God, and pastored in Sneedville, for 2 ¾ years at House of Prayer, and was associate pastor in Morristown at Pentecostal Assembly for five years. He worked with George W. Reagan as vice president for several years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Scott Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jhounna Cloar Pruitt; children, T. J. Pruitt and wife, Shira, Hannah Durham and husband, Justin, Sarah Pruitt, Benjamin Pruitt and Ethan Pruitt; grandchildren, Brayden Pruitt, Brynlee Pruitt and Alayna Durham; parents, Sam and Jean Pruitt; brother, James Pruitt and wife, Susie; sister, Betty Williams and husband, Terry; sister-in-law, Denise Pruitt; many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Blue Springs Church of God.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Blue Springs Church of God with the Rev. Don Ingram and the Rev. Bill Johnson officiating.
Graveside interment service will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.

I am deeply sorrowful for the passing of this truly good man from our presence. Larry and Jhonna were some of the first friends I made when I attended Blue Springs, and they were always such an inspiration to me in my Christian experience.
I know that Larry is now with the Lord, and his troubles are over, but we will miss his company and presence here.
My condolences to his family and his church, as he was so loved by everyone he knew.
Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints.
