Sam Billings, 56, Crawfordsville, went home to be with the Lord September 24, 2025 at his home.

He was born August 8, 1969 in Crawfordsville to Charles and Martha (Wilbur) Billings. He married Suzy LaFoe on February 18, 2018 and she survives.

Sam worked for R.R. Donnelly's for 30 plus years and then went to Saab in Lafayette.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking, kayaking, mushroom hunting and was always ready for the next adventure. Words can not describe how much this man will be deeply missed. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather, as well as a wonderful friend to all. He never knew a stranger.

Surviving along with his wife, Suzy, are his parents Charles and Martha of Waynetown, daughter, Nicole (Josh) Pritchett of Crawfordsville, step daughter, Hannah Lauderbaugh of Crawfordsille grandchildren, Knoxsen and Lillie Pritchett, siblings, Chuck (Kelly) Billings of Crawfordsville, Pete Billings of Crawfordsville along with a niece, several nephews and his two kittens, Mars and Luna.

Per Sam's request no services are planned, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

To one of the greatest bosses I ever had firm but fair. Still managing to get things done. May God hold you firm and fairly in his arms. Until we meet again.
