Samuel "Sam" J. Borrelli Jr., of Philadelphia, passed away on September 13, 2018 at the age of 34. He is survived by his parents Samuel Borrelli Sr. ( Judy ) and Eileen Plunkett (nee Havel) (George); his siblings Vincent Borrelli, Alexandria Borrelli, Tiffany Plunkett, Erica Plunkett, Zachary Plunkett, Georgie Plunkett, and Gracie Plunkett; his grandmother Margaret McCabe; his late grandparents Frank and Mildred Havel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sam attended 12 years of Catholic School and was a graduate of North Catholic High School Class of 2002. He attended Penn State for 1 year and discovered it not to be his cup of tea. He moved on and graduated from Pennco Tech graduating #1 in his class with top honors. More importantly, he was the oldest and fun loving brother to 7 siblings and Uncle to Jimmy, Riley, Karlie and Adam. He loved playing sports as a child and adult, especially baseball and was an awesome infielder! Sam was a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and made the trip to the Super Bowl LII! In his spare time, Sam enjoyed working out, spending time with this family and having laughs, he was a good practical joker. His most admired quality was his beautiful heart that left impressions on all who came into his life. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Sam's Life Celebration Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 7:30-10:00AM at Craft/Givnish Life Celebration Home 1801 Old York Rd. Abington, PA 19001 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30AM at Queen of Peace Church 820 North Hills Ave. Glenside, PA 19038. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania would be greatly appreciated.
