Samuel Cockrell Obituary
Samuel Thomas Cockrell, 60 of Lucama passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 - 11:45 a.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson
Samuel is survived by his daughter, Ashley Cockrell of Clearwater, Florida; son, Samuel Cockrell and wife, Reba Doane of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Amiya Mitchell, Angelle Mitchell, Carnell Mitchell, and Sia Cockrell; sisters, Cynthia Dove and husband, Brian, Kathy Teal and Lynn Ferrell; and his brother, Tim Cockrell and wife, Shirley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Mildred Cockrell.
