Samuel G DeBonis, beloved father, grandfather, spouse, brother, and friend, passed away on March 29, 2025. He was a dedicated father to his three children, Tracy DeBonis (45), Lauren Capuano (39), and Samuel J DeBonis(35), and a cherished friend to many.
Together with his brother, Louis DeBonis, he owned a mechanic shop S&L in West Orange, NJ. Where he used his exceptional skills to help others and forge lifelong friendships. He had a deep passion for building and drag racing Mustangs, a hobby he shared with his brother, bringing him great joy.
For the past 20 years, he shared a loving relationship with his girlfriend, Grace, and maintained a strong friendship with his ex-wife, Nancy Barrett. He was a proud grandfather to his two grandsons, Dustin and Anthony, who will miss him terribly.
Samuel was a great role model and a great friend to those who loved him. His presence and the impact he had on everyone around him will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 6:00pm with Father Antonio from St. Judes Parish.
