Steven George DeBonis obituary:

Steven George DeBonis passed on December 27, 2025, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital at the age of 54. Steven was born in Waterbury, Connecticut- a good old factory town- on July 27, 1971. He is survived by his father George, mother Diane, Son Weston, Daughter Holland, and former wife Angelina DeBonis, along with countless family members and friends.

He moved to Texas as soon as he could in 1982. Steven attended Westchester Middle School, Spring Forest Middle School, and Stratford High School. It was at Stratford that he met a group of friends he would call his boys until the day he passed. His athleticism led him to play on both Stratford's football and baseball teams. It was in 1988 that he participated in the Stratford state championship football team. During Steve's high school days, he worked at Memorial City Hospital in transportation and then as an OR orderly.

Steve attended Sam Houston State University. During his off time, he continued in the medical arena at Spring Branch Hospital as an OR tech. Being exposed to various technologies used in the OR, and Steve's ability to absorb information and apply it, he was offered a position in medical sales.

During his travels, he was scouted for a job with a company named Thermi and a boss named Greg. Over time, Steve and Greg became the best of friends and traveled extensively across the United States and Europe.

In 2002, Steve married the love of his life, Angelina DeBonis, and then in 2004 and 2008, had their precious children, Weston and Holland. Steve and his family moved to Walden on Lake Conroe in 2010, where he played infinite rounds of golf and spent countless hours with his loved family and friends.

Steve was one in a million and loved by everyone around him. He was smart, and he loved everyone with all of his heart. Steven will be missed dearly by all who loved him.
