Samuel C. Feltis

Samuel Chase Feltis was born in Tucson, AZ on June 24th, 1989 and died in Portland, OR on January 17, 2021. He is survived by his son Sammy, his parents Jim and Colleen, and his sisters Tallia, Hannah, and Abby.
Sam was a sweet child who loved the many senior citizens who lived in his Tucson community and always wanted to sit in their laps and talk to them. As a teenager he worked at a senior care home where he showed those who lived there the same love and care as when he was younger.
He had a passion for basketball and his lifelong favorite team, the Utah Jazz. He played for his Kent Junior High basketball team, and was always shooting hoops with his friends in front of his childhood home in Kent, WA. He graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 2007.
Perhaps as a result of a childhood dream to be a paleontologist, Sam loved the outdoors and spending time in nature. He was always in awe of the natural wonders around him and was quick to share a random Wikipedia fact he had learned.
Above everything else, he loved his son Sammy, the Utah Jazz, his '82 Lincoln Continental, Jack-in-the-Box tacos, and sushi. In lieu of flowers or cards, please donate to his son Sammy's college fund: https://gofund.me/62159a4a
