Samuel Gallarzo Gomez, age 50, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. His departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew him - a man who gave endlessly of himself, asking for nothing in return.
Born November 6, 1974, in La Mesa De Los Navar, Durango, México, Samuel was the beloved son of Samuel Gallarzo Diaz and Maria Del Rosario Gallarzo Diaz. He came to this world with a heart full of love and a spirit of sacrifice. Samuel worked tirelessly, not for recognition, but for the quiet satisfaction of providing for those he cared for. As a retired General Manager with Corsair, his leadership was marked by integrity, humility, and quiet strength. Outside of work, he enjoyed family time and had a strong faith in God, which guided his actions, grounded his character, and gave him peace through life's trials.
Samuel lived not for himself, but for others. He poured his soul into being a father, son, brother, uncle, and godfather. His children, Giovanni and Diviana Gallarzo, were the lights of his life his proudest legacy. He gave them not just love, but an example of what it means to live with compassion, resilience, and grace.
He is survived by his parents, Samuel Gallarzo Diaz and Maria Del Rosario Gallarzo Diaz; his son Giovanni and daughter Diviana; his sisters Elisa Gallarzo Zamayoa, Cecilia Ruiz (Jose Alberto), and Maria Isabel Jimenez (Ruben), the mother of his children, Veronica Gallarzo and His beloved partner Velia Díaz. He also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews who adored their "Tio Chame," and several beloved godchildren who were lucky to have been guided by his wisdom and love.
Samuel was the kind of person who remembered your birthday, who showed up when it mattered, and who gave even when he had little. His love was deep, steady, and without conditions. He asked for nothing, yet gave everything. He leaves behind a legacy not written in wealth or accolades, but in the hearts he lifted and the lives he touched.
We will forever miss his illuminating smile, his strong hands, his kind eyes, and above all, his boundless love.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, followed by interment at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Father Ignacio Morales will officiate. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, June 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M.
Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. Condolences can be shared online at www.memorialparkfuneralhomes.com
