Samuel Clay Grant, 63, passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on November 4, 1961 to A.C. and Mildred Freels Grant in Harriman, Tennessee. He was a server in various restaurants for more than 45 years. He enjoyed his job because he loved talking to people.
Mr. Grant is preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Janet Grant and Kathy (David) Watson; Nephew, Bradley Grant.
Sam is survived by his Brother, Gary W. Grant and Wife Sheila; Nephews, Gary D Grant and Wife Randi Lee, Jason Watson and Wife Danielle, and Adam Watson and Wife Michelle; Great Nephews, Bradley Grant II and Hunter Watson; Great Nieces, Delanie, Briar Rose, Gracie and Abigail Watson. Sam's family would like to give a special thank you to his best friend, Marti McKecknie for taking care of him during his illness.
A graveside service for Mr. Grant will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 3PM at Resthaven Cemetery. Family and Friends will be serving as pallbearers.
