Samuel Holsten Obituary
Sam was born on December 28, 1969, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Phyllis Gail Nickell and Danny Ray Holsten. Sam was a member of the Wayne Freewill Baptist Church, finding joy in worshipping God. Sam loved fishing, especially with his friend Ralph, and had a great passion for cooking, and was amazing at it. He cherished his entire family and had a special connection with his niece, Ashley O'Bryan, and great-niece, Aliveah Nichols.
Samuel is Survived by his sister Katherine (Dan) O'Bryan, niece Ashley (Vip) O'Bryan, nephew Daniel (Hannah) O'Bryan, Kaylee O'Bryan, great-niece Aliveah Nichols, and great-nephew Ethan Hutchison. He also leaves behind several uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins. Sam was predeceased in death by his father, Danny Ray Holsten, and mother, Phyllis Gail Holsten.
A celebration of Sam's life will take place on September 28, 2024, at 2 pm at the Wayne Freewill Baptist Church, 4040 S John HIX Rd, Wayne, MI 48184.

Sam was also Our Church Treasurer , and Member of the IT.department for the church sam also worked with Video and audio systems of the church as well and was often staffing the Video booth he was a Devoted Christian and Great Guy with a Big Heart . sam had a huge heart loved cooking and family he loved to talk about his family and the good things and times he also was a CENA and doing remarkable work with the community that he loved at facility as well as in their homes he took care of his mother as well and was devastated when she passed as well as another recent family member ,
Sam will Always be missed by his friends , family, and the church we were in disbelief when we got the news and only comfort is he is at peace in God's embrace and reunited with his parents . Sam we will Always miss you bud and miss our little quarls he was also a stern republican and I would always play up the democrats when we would speak of politics to keep the love war going it was our thing , and i will miss that greatly .
