Kevin Nephi Holsten passed away in his sleep on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. He is now reunited with the love of his life, his wife, Christina P. Holsten. He's also united with both parents, his two brothers, and his sister.
Kevin was born in Soda Springs, Idaho, on June 19, 1952. The son of Richard and Ila Holsten.
He married Christina Archuleta Holsten on May 2, 1980, in Soda Springs, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 29, 2018.
Kevin was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend. He had a love for camping, fishing, spending time with family and friends. He also loved his truck driving days and fixing things around the house. Anytime he was able to use his tractor, he would.
Kevin loved spending his days with his wife. Taking care of his wife, besides working, was all he knew and did without question. He never told her no!
He retired from Praxair and received many excellent good driver awards. He drove long and short-haul, and was very proud of his driving record.
Kevin is survived by his two daughters, three sons, and their spouses, Brandon Holsten, Mike McDonald, Kevin Holsten Jr., Nichole & Erick Gleave, Alicia & Allen Degraw; seven grandchildren, Celeste Holsten, Kaleb McDonald, Angelina Holsten, Payton Holsten, Morgan Holsten, Aubrey Holsten, and CJ Gleave; brothers, Mark & Delores Holsten, Mike & Roxy Holsten; and sister, Evelyn & Jack Evans.
Kevin is preceded in death by his wife, Christina, his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Peel Funeral Home. 8525 W. Magna Main St, Magna, UT
